A new, long-awaited holiday lights show closes out the Gainesville Garden’s 10th anniversary celebration!
Gainesville Glows: Lanterns & Lights is open on select nights Nov. 20 – Jan. 4 and features displays of lighted woodland animals and other décor designed especially for the Gainesville Garden.
Imagine a 60- to 90-minute stroll through romantic luminaria-lined pathways surrounded by colorful uplit trees. Look for tall metal lanterns that cast intricate shadows on meandering walkways. Take pics in a tunnel of light, roast s’mores on the event lawn and more!

What's the difference between a Premium and General Admission Ticket?
Premium tickets include hologram glasses and a drink ticket that may be redeemed for any beverage at Garden bars, including hot cocoa and cider (spiked if you like!), beer, wine, water and soft drinks.
General admission tickets allow admission only.
Non-Member Tickets Available Oct. 1
All tickets are valid only for the date and time of purchase. They are not transferrable to another night unless the FLEX Tix $5 upgrade is also purchased. No rain checks for inclement weather. Purchase online. Admission tickets are limited to 12 per order. Children 2 years old or younger do not require a ticket for admission. Please note that there is a $5 processing fee for all orders made online or by phone.
Are tickets date- and time-specific?
Yes, all tickets are date- and time-specific. If you are not sure about your plans, we would recommend purchasing the FLEX tickets that can be rescheduled in advance of your visit if needed. The first time slot is at 5 p.m. and the last time slot is at 8:30 p.m.
What are timed tickets? Does it mean I only have 30 minutes in the Garden?
Gainesville Glows tickets are only valid AFTER the purchased time slot. For example, if your tickets are for 7 p.m., they cannot be scanned until 7 p.m.
Guests are kindly asked to arrive and park no sooner than 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled ticket time, though accommodations will be made for guests who arrive after the scheduled window.
Once you arrive, you may explore the Garden for as long as you’d like, which usually takes 1 – 1.5 hours. Dress appropriately for this outdoor walking experience.
Children 2 years old or younger do not require a ticket for admission.
Can I purchase tickets on site?
Gainesville Glows may sell out. Purchase in advance online, by phone or in-person to secure your preferred night and time. Please note that there is a $5 processing fee for all orders made online or by phone.
Do children under a certain age need a ticket?
Children ages 3-12 require a ticket for this event. Children ages 2 and under are free with accompanying adults.
What's the difference between regular and peak nights?
The Gainesville Glows experience is the same on regular and peak nights.
We want every visit to feel magical — and that means making sure the Gainesville Garden never feels overcrowded, especially on our most popular evenings. Peak night pricing helps us spread attendance across the season, so you can enjoy a more comfortable, spacious experience and shorter lines for your favorite features.
It also allows us to keep ticket prices lower on many nights, giving guests more flexibility to choose the date, time, and price that work best for them. Whether you visit on a quiet weeknight or a bustling holiday weekend, every ticket helps us care for the Garden year-round and create the seasonal experiences you love.
What is Flex Tix?
Flex Tix allows you to change the date of your visit due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. It can be purchased with General Admission or Premium tickets. Contact the Garden for an easy exchange to a different night at the same level. Flex tix value expires Jan. 4, 2026.
Exchanges must be made by phone at the number provided in your emailed ticket confirmation. Upgraded date changes (Regular Night to Peak Night, require payment of the difference in ticket level. FLEX Tix cannot be transferred to sold-out nights.

What if it rains or snows?
Gainesville Glows is rain or shine. No rain checks are given for inclement weather.
Purchase Flex Tix to change the date of your visit in the event of rain.
I didn't buy Flex Tix. Can I change my date?
General Admission and Premium tickets are date- and time-specific. If you did not purchase Flex Tix, you may contact our ticket office to change your tickets to a new day or time. There is a $5 per ticket rebooking fee for each change.
Where do I park? How much does parking cost?
On-site Pass Family Orchard Parking is $5 per vehicle, paid on-site only by credit or debit card. Parking is first-come, first-served. We kindly ask that you arrive no more than 30 minutes before your scheduled admission time.
There is no on-site parking for buses or shuttles. Buses and shuttles may drop off guests, but must depart the Garden’s property immediately after.
Do members get a discount?
Yes. Garden members save $2 on every ticket purchased. Join today for Gainesville Glows perks and receive a year of unlimited daytime admission during regular daytime Garden hours.
Does my membership include tickets to Gainesville Glows?
No. All members must purchase tickets to Gainesville Glows. Garden members save $2 on every Gainesville Glows ticket.
Guest passes and reciprocal benefits are not accepted for this special event.
Is there any food on site? Can we bring snacks?
Outside food and beverages are prohibited in the Gainesville Garden, including during Gainesville Glows.
S’mores kits are available for purchase for roasting over fire pits on the Event Lawn.
Garden bars offer warm beverages, beer, wine, water, and soft drinks, along with a limited selection of snacks for purchase.
Do you offer wheelchairs or electric scooters?
Yes. Wheelchairs and electric mobility scooters are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be reserved.
Wheelchairs: Complimentary, available upon request as tickets are scanned at the Ivester Visitor Center. Quantities are limited.
Scooters: $30 plus tax (Garden members save $5). Payment must be made by credit card at Garden Admissions. Scooters may not be rented in inclement weather, and quantities are limited. You must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license to rent a scooter.
A photo I.D. must be left with our Guest Experience team while wheelchairs or scooters are rented.
Does the Garden offer group discounts? Can we park our oversized vehicle there?
No. Due to high demand and limited space, the Garden does not offer group discounts or bus/shuttle parking during Gainesville Glows. Buses and shuttles may drop off guests, but must depart the Garden’s property immediately after.
There is a limit of 12 tickets per order. Any group larger than 12 must call the ticket office at 404-671-3043 to coordinate their visit. The Ticket office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please inform the ticket office if you plan to arrive by bus or shuttle.
Other Garden Policies
No outside food or drink.
No weapons of any kind.
No smoking or vaping of any kind.
For all guests’ safety, wagons are not permitted during this exhibition. Strollers are welcome.
Purchasing beer, wine and spirits requires a 21+ valid photo I.D. Last call at Garden bars is 9:30 p.m. Purchases are limited to two drinks per person. Single servings only.
