Oct. 1 - Nov. 2: (closed Mondays, except Indigenous Peoples' Day, Oct. 13): Enjoy kooky, creative scarecrows handcrafted by businesses, individuals, schools and organizations, scattered throughout the Gainesville Garden.

About the Exhibition

Scarecrows in the Gainesville Garden stuffs the woodlands with creations by local artists, crafters, youth groups and more this year with the theme, Woodland Magic!

Visitors’ Choice Award voting begins with the exhibition premiere on Oct. 1. The winner will receive a gift basket with a selection of items from the gift shop. To vote for your favorite scarecrow, take note of the scarecrow number during your visit, then scan the QR code in the Ivester Visitor Center to cast your ballot.

Scarecrow Salvage: Nov. 5, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Garden members enjoy unlimited daytime entry for a full calendar year at the Atlanta and Gainesville Gardens. That includes open access during regular hours to Scarecrows in the Garden, and free admission to several seasonal events, like Goblins in the Garden and Cocktails in the Gainesville Garden.
